Located in Cape Town city center, Café Chic is run by Conrad and his wife Candice serves Lunch and Dinner.
The venue offers two dining rooms, a bar, lounge, cigar room and private dining rooms.
I totally fell in love with the décor the crisp, clean, white décor was perfectly complemented by the both classic and contemporary pieces. They really have done amazing work to bring the space to life.
The service, ambiance and food were all TOP NOTCH. Beautifully presented, deliciously tasting food was the order of the night.
They offer a comprehensive Menu was various options, no matter what the occasion there is something for everyone.
Our group of six had opted for the Special that Cafe Chic had run via Groupon and got to experience the Prix Fixe Menu.
For R295, you have the option of choosing between 3 Starters, 3 Mains and each guest gets a Tasting plate of 3 delicious desserts.

The portion size were good, food was delicious, tasty and beautifully presented.
The dish of the evening for me was definitely the Risotto the Calamari was simply to die for.
We were lucky enough to have Chef Conrad there on the night and he not only came out to Thank Us for joining in on the evening, but also happily obliged to some pics.

This one is for the Craft Beers lovers, Lily Patrick is small brewery in Stellenbosh that produces fine beers ranging four different ones that will be paired with a fresh and seasonal inspired menu created for the evening.
FRI 22ND JANUARY – CELEBRATING THE KAROO LAMB
Karoo lamb stands in the hearts of many South Africans as a symbol of excellent meat, ethically produced and coming from home. Chef Lapo love’s everything that has this wonderful lamb in it so let’s celebrate an evening with company of friends who are passionate about Karoo lamb, Kyle Noyes who will give us few interesting facts about the produce, while we will be dining on a specially created menu focusing on the lamb.
FRI 29TH JANUARY – MEXICAN INSPIRED WITH HOMEMADE TEQUILA
Lapo’s Kitchen will be hosting a “Mexico meets “South Africa” dinner where local tequila maker Sarah Kennan will be offering her home (south Africa ) made Mezcal/Tequila LA LEONA – (lioness) made from 100% agave grown in the Karoo.
Sarah will be telling us the story behind La Leona, while will be dining on Mexican inspired menu with a little surprise to unravel a bit before the dinner.
