Driving up to La Colombe the long and winding road, not only builds the excitement in anticipation, but also clears you mind and opens you up to what is too come, the beauty of the area, the view the fresh air. Everything is simply fantastic!!!
Having heard so much about the establishment, we were somewhat overwhelmed by the prospect of being about to dine at the 76th best restaurant in the world and 2nd in South Africa.
The gravity of what the term “best restaurant” means really hits you from the moment you step out of the car are greeted in the parking area, the front of house, wait staff and all the amazing people who assist the incredible Chef Scot Kirton who also happened to win the S.Pellegrino Chef of the Year Award are truly an award winning team.
As this is a photo blog, I will let the pictures do the talking, but what I will say is that it if you reading this it is a MUST for your bucket list.
