Having heard so much about Reuben’s from friends, I was quite looking forward to my first chef & the vine dining experience at Reuben’s.
This month we had the pleasure of Chef & the Vine Dinner with Hamilton Russel Vineyards
The trendy yet elegant décor set the tone for a formidable evening.
The four course meal yielded wonderful aromas, delicious tasting and beautifully plated food.
Hats off to the chefs who worked tirelessly to present such remarkable cuisine.
I really loved all the dishes but being a bit of a turophile, I delighted in the fourth course which was selection of cape cheeses with homemade crackers and preserves, paired with the Ashbourne Sandstone 2010, this was simply sublime.
We ended the evening with a selection of chocolates, which in opinion was a perfect ending to an impressive evening.
